Gloucester County Courthouse

This project goal updated the offices and created additional space for the Gloucester County Clerk’s Office on two (2) levels within the existing Historic Gloucester County Courthouse Building built in 1887. In addition, the inhospitable 1887 basement level was converted into a space the public and the County would enjoy using. Total area 10,600 s.f.

The County also renovated portions of two (2) existing buildings to provide space for the Civil Court Administrative Offices, Jury Assembly Room, Jury Deliberation Room and two (2) Courtrooms. Total area 10,000 s.f.

In order to maintain the buildings integrity an exterior restoration was completed and included replacing the slate roof, replacing the wood double hung windows, cleaning and repointing the stone walls and repainting all exterior trim.
